I realise this is a GWs forum, but Im short of places to ask for help with this!

I own Oblivion: GOTY edition and I have three mods installed for it, including natural weath and BMT (or BTM or somet) and I love the game.

But I recently decided to purchase 7 of the official packs from www.obliviondownload.com and it cost me a stupid $13 (£7ish), and they wont install.

I keep getting the message "The secure loaded used to protect this software has encountered a fatal error. Please contact your software vendor." and it stops the installation.

Im running it on windows xp 32bit and my account is the administration account. I also tried running them in safe mode and to no avail.

Has anyone had this same issue and if so, how did you resolve it?

£7 isnt a staggering amount to loose, but I did download 7 packs and this is annoying me.

I encountered this. I also encountered their new decision to charge for DLC (it was free with Morrowind). So anyways, annoyed that I'd spent money on them AND the installers weren't working, I went to google and typed, "oblivion DLC torrent" which gave me the actual data files from a torrent network without the installers, allowing me to just place them in the folders.
